Valsir ARIOSA DOT HP is a dual-flow wall-mounted heat recovery ventilation unit designed to ventilate a single room (or a small apartment zone) in homes, small offices, studios, medical clinics, and similar spaces up to 70 m². It is a plug and play solution that does not require a duct distribution network. Installation typically needs only two wall openings and an electrical connection, making it a practical choice for renovations or spaces where a central HRV system cannot be installed.
The unit delivers up to 100 m³/h of balanced ventilation and is generally suitable for rooms or small dwellings up to around 70 m². Airflow can be adjusted with four fan speeds (Night, Minimum, Medium, Maximum), so ventilation matches occupancy and daily rhythm.
Unlike the standard model, ARIOSA DOT HP includes an integrated cooling circuit that dehumidifies the incoming outdoor air. This is especially useful in warm and humid seasons when moisture control is the main comfort issue. Dehumidification is managed automatically using onboard temperature and humidity sensors, helping keep indoor humidity under control while still ensuring constant air exchange.
Heat recovery and Energy efficiency
ARIOSA DOT HP uses a high efficiency counterflow sensible heat exchanger to recover heat from the extracted indoor air and transfer it to the incoming fresh air. The system has a declared dry thermal efficiency of up to 85%, supporting energy saving ventilation in well insulated buildings.
Dehumidification with natural refrigerant
The HP version includes a built in refrigeration circuit for dehumidification of the supply air. It uses R290 natural refrigerant with very low global warming potential. This adds an extra comfort function without changing the simple wall-mounted concept and it helps reduce the risk of condensation and mould during the most humid periods.
Air filtration and indoor air quality
ARIOSA DOT HP is equipped with two high performance filters as standard: an ISO Coarse >65% filter on the extract air and an ISO ePM1 >50% (ex F7) filter on the supply air. The filtration helps reduce dust, pollen, smog, allergens and fine particulates (PM10, PM2.5 and PM1), improving everyday indoor air quality. Filters are accessible through separate doors for quick inspection and replacement.
Controls and connectivity
The unit includes an electronic control system with onboard temperature and relative humidity probes for demand based ventilation and comfort functions such as free-cooling and free-heating management. A remote LCD control panel provides access to fan speeds, modes and scheduling. Built in Wi-Fi enables remote control via the Valsir HRV App. Modbus interface supports integration with home automation or BMS systems.
Installation and applications
ARIOSA DOT HP is designed for indoor wall-mounting on a perimeter wall and can be installed under a window thanks to its compact form. Installation typically requires two 125 mm wall openings for intake and exhaust and a condensate drain connection either outdoors or to a nearby drainage point. One unit is commonly sufficient for a one or two room apartment or a small office up to 70 m². For larger homes, multiple units can be installed in different rooms.
