Description

Valsir ARIOSA HV Enthalpic is a central heat recovery ventilation unit for residential buildings where both heat and humidity recovery are important for comfort. The unit can be installed horizontally in a false ceiling or vertically on the wall, so it is suitable for new homes as well as for upgrading ventilation in existing buildings. It is available in three airflow sizes (170, 250 and 330 m³/h) and can cover residential areas up to approximately 250 m² depending on the selected model and layout.

The Enthalpic version uses a high performance enthalpic counterflow heat exchanger that recovers both sensible heat and part of the moisture from the extracted air. This helps to keep indoor air from becoming too dry during the heating season and improves comfort compared to standard sensible only heat exchangers. EC brushless motors with constant airflow control and a compact EPP casing with optimised air paths ensure quiet operation, low pressure drops and easy handling on site.

Energy efficiency

The enthalpic counterflow exchanger transfers heat and a portion of the water vapour from the exhaust air stream to the incoming fresh air. This reduces heating demand in winter and can also limit cooling loads in mid season conditions. With very high heat recovery efficiency and low specific fan power, ARIOSA HV Enthalpic offers long term energy savings while maintaining balanced mechanical ventilation in the whole dwelling.

Indoor air quality and humidity control

ARIOSA HV Enthalpic provides continuous filtered airflow through the supply and extract ducts, diluting CO₂, odours and indoor pollutants while controlling excess moisture. The enthalpic heat exchanger helps to stabilise indoor relative humidity by partially transferring moisture back to the supply air instead of removing it entirely with condensate. This is beneficial in well insulated homes where air can otherwise become uncomfortably dry during the heating season. The filtration system is designed to reduce dust, smog, pollen and other airborne particles that would otherwise enter the building.

Controls and automation

Like the Sensible full feature version, ARIOSA HV Enthalpic is equipped with an advanced electronic control system. The unit includes multiple onboard temperature and humidity probes and a wall mounted LCD control panel for configuration and daily use. A built in WiFi module allows control and monitoring through the Valsir App on smartphones and tablets, while the Modbus interface enables integration with home automation or BMS systems. Automatic bypass management uses indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity signals to enable free cooling when conditions are favourable.
